To be fair though, I think that footballs governing bodies need to do something about agents. These parasitic tw@ts need eradicating,or the players should pay them.

    a) they employ them

    b) they can afford it..

I agree they should be eradicated and the Players Union should take over representation of the player.

They do need someone on their side when negotiating as we all know how thick some players are but agents on the whole are merely bloodsucking ghouls.

anyone else hiring an advisor , has to pay them out of their own pocket. tax releivable so only pay a bit more than half!

they can defininitely afford it - until they are established-making mega bucks.. the players union can fulfil that role.

Didn't it used to be that the agent could command a fee from the selling club, the buying club and the player?

The whole system is absolutely outrageous and another example of football having disappeared up its own arse a long time ago.

Totally in the hand of all of the countries F.A's and F.I.F.A. they could stop it overnight and make the rules to have a reasonable result.

Any transgression and huge fines and or suspensions and problem over.

99% of agents are leaches and totally not needed. I agree the players need to be represented as the majority of them are lacking in astuteness but where are the reasons it should cost millions of pounds.

Since the breaking of the Almiron story, did anyone really think he would be playing for us next season?
