    Barreca and Martins

So it seems we have lodged 2 loan offers with the option to buy for these 2 players.Think we all know Rafa is off when his contract runs out but this just confirms it for me.
Don't give Rafa money, see how they perform and if any good give the new YES man money to buy them at the end of the loan.

So in theory .. Since Benitez and Ashley can't see eye to eye ..Would it have been better "for the team" ,for Ashley to have sacked Benitez and employed someone he would have given money to?
The rumours are that Benitez gets money "if" he signs a new contract .. If not .. No money . So a new manager = money for transfers.

The glaring mistake in this strategy for Ashley is that he owns the team , and if we go down , more money to spend .
But 70m parachute payments , lascelles , Shelvey, Ritchie , Dubravka.. Etc out the door .. Will he actually lose that much ?

Be cheaper to sack Benitez .. 5 months contract to pay up, and Pardeux installed .

Benitez is holding things together for Ashley at the moment. If he sacks him we go down and all hell could break loose. On Benitez part he has opened a lot of people's eyes to what fatty is all about.Fans and now bit by bit the media are coming round to what is happening.
The Bolton protest the other night, the march around the stadium included ex-player John McGinley. If only one of our ex-players could get involved here.
We get 52000 gates and scrape for loans,Bournemouth get 10000 gates and sign players for 20-30 million quid.Unbelievable.

Doesn't that just prove my point.I was talking from our point of view. One reason we don't spend Ashley.Plenty of money around regardless of gates but those at the top end of attendances should have more than the likes of Bournemouth.
It's about time the FA look into what goes on at clubs like us.Owners that look to buy have to pass a fit and proper tests.Seems once you buy you can do what you want and it's fans that suffer.

At least he's a winger and a left-back like Rafa wants though, that is something.

Although i see the Arsenal are also taking an interest in Martins - hard choice for him, us or Arsenal.
