I honestly don’t see the fuss about Stewart...he has added nothing to our team. Wilson should be starting up top with Cosgrove. McLennan and McGinn should be our wide players. GMS and Stewart benched.

One positive...another shut out for Joe Lewis and Derek McInnes

How bad a foul was it? My eyes were averted for a few seconds. Boys beside me thought it was probably a yellow.

An absolute dire game that had THREE shots on target all match...all from us. Three shots from us on target all match is dire. We need to be a better threat at the opposition goal.

Any word on what the McKenna injury is? Was able to walk off ok so hopefully not too bad. Either a knee or a thigh injury by the looks of it?

I think it probably just was red. Pretty reckless lunge and caught Shinnie on the ankle late. If only yellow I would not have been surprised.Good enough for Boyd.

Better than NO shots all game from the supposed form team. If we had shown any ambition we would have won easy but our manager has no belief that we can win these games playing on the front foot.

He slid in quite recklessly with a lot of aggression but not really with much chance of getting the ball. I assumed it was going to be a yellow actually but one of those ones where it could've been either and you've seen reds for a lot less. I did feel there were one or two decisions after that which didn't go our way which felt a bit like the ref was trying to balance it up.

What kind of shape is Boyd in for a professional footballer in Scotland’s top flight. An athlete my @rse! No wonder Clarke limits his game time as he is letting himself and his club down by being in that nick.

I don't think we lacked ambition - we started the game with Cosgrove, May, GMS and Stewart - 4 forwards. The problem is the formation, trying to squeeze them all in. May needs to play alongside Cosgrove if he's playing. Stewart needs to play in behind Cosgrove if he's playing. GMS needs to play out on the wing. All this interchanging is ok, but you end up with nobody actually out wide.

We finished the game with Cosgrove, Stewart, McGinn, Wilson - 4 forwards but again no width, just players drifting about.

Our best spell this season in December was when we played 2 forwards through the centre, and 2 wingers out wide. We played wide, got the ball in the box and scored. Today we ended up playing long again and hardly ever built anything through the wide areas. The only threat out wide came from Lowe driving forward.

The boy Davies at Hamilton midweek was even bigger - looked like they'd called him up from a pub league.
