I think from what was said on the radio the other night that the boy Billy Bowie pushed the boat out to finance that one himself.

Cant remember the figures exactly, but our turnover last year was something like 4 to 5 times bigger than theirs I think.

If Billy Bowie is financing for the manager and players wages then that’s part of their budget I would have thought.

Our turnover might be bigger but it’s not all going back into the budget for the squad.

I get the semantics and the correct verbiage is to say borrow, however in footballing terms, borrow is never used in the descrition of the deal.
It is always a loan deal, not a borrow deal.

Try a search for it.
"Aberdeen borrow Max Lowe" (players name irrelevant and can be substituted)
All the articles never utilise the verb borrow despite the search and only refer to loan(s)

Sometimes we lend players and sometimes we borrow them.
