TM saying today we are very keen to get him signed this Jan. We are still monitoring the situation.
He feels with Harry being out of contract in the summer, we can get him on a good deal. Maybe even no transfer fee?
The idea would be to sign him on a longer term deal now (in Jan) and loan him straight out to a League 1 side to get him good experience. TM admits he would not get in our squad (never mind first team) right now, as we have quality who isn't getting a game, so we don't want to put Harry in the same position as he is with Boro.
He has featured in just 5 first games all season, mainly cup games vrs lower league sides.
We know him, we want him, so this could well happen.

I don't really see us doing any other business, unless we come across a player who is better than what we have already? And wont cost much, which in Jan is extremely unlikely.

Champs - I agree there is not that much urgency to make signings at the moment.
I'd still be a bit concerned if Graham got injured, but Nuttall seems to have regained form. In any case, I doubt that ANY late or loan signing could offer the quality that DG is showing at present.
As for Chapman, it is hard to guarantee players the game-time you want them to have if you loan them out, but he probably wouldn't be happy with just being in the U-23s.
Let's hope that if he is signed, he DOES go to a club that plays him in every game.
Of course, we are now officially entering "Silly Week" in the transfer-market, so anything can happen!

That is very true. On top of that, they tend to be inconsistent.
All the same, he brought something different to the team, first time around, and he looked particularly good when running at tiring defenders in the last 20-30 minutes of a game.
Dodgy hamstrings are a worry, but he will be fully assessed by the medical team.

Look, he's ours now (Well I'd will be early next week) and last season, anyone that saw him was very excited. He has a question mark over his hamstring, but he has remained fit this season, albeit only playing U-23 footy. But we aren't risking anything as he will come for nothing.
Get him out on loan and get him match fit and battle hardened and let TM worm his magic.
Anyone want to tell me he has a bad record at Rovers with bringing young exciting prospects into the fold? Harry is home now, let's see what this exciting prospect can do next season and onwards.
