    O/T Shy Remoaners

... hail shy Remoaners! Some Remoaners seem a little shy about saying that they are happy to be part of the Lisbon Treaty goals of: a united Federal super-state; majority only voting for all members with no opt-outs; joining the euro currency – amongst other rules. Staying in the EU now means this WILL happen.
As history is a guide, this reminds me very much of many of the German population in the 1930’s turning a blind eye to things that were happening in their name, in return for obedience/don’t rock the boat, stable (questionable) financial security and denial of conditions for an under-class. Indeed, this denial continued for decades after the war under the guise of ‘we never knew...’
As you will also know, many in the GB Establishment wanted to appease the Evil One so that their control would continue unhindered. And so we fought a war to preserve our independence, never knowing the outcome or the cost ... but we fought.
One of the benefits of the whole Brexit turmoil has been that we do now know about the Establishment lies that kidded ordinary people of the UK that we were in a trading/economic relationship ship as part of a Common Market.
So sincere Remoaners, are you in denial or is that what you want?

Let's leave the EU and become the 51st state of the USA! Then we can have the dollar instead of the euro and get the French to build the wall. Trump knows it makes sense!

Is a 'Remoaner' different from a normal 'Remainer' or is it just a witty name for the same thing used by scaremongering leavers?

Asking for a friend you understand...

    ... scaremongering leavers?
... nothing scaremongering about stated intentions (as Lisbon Treaty) by EU. So are you happy to accept the appeasers route?

Yes I have noticed this term being used by scaremongering leavers quite frequently. So what's the answer? Is a Remoaner different from a Remainer? My friend really wants to know whether you're serious or just 'having a dig' when using it.
