Great Footballing disasters we have known

OK we are up against a clearly lower league no hoper team tomorrow, should go like a dream shouldn't it?

AND YET, I can't get this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1WArL-VdHk out of my head, my first ever away game as a 9 year old, a game Derby were nailed on to win, yet lost partly due to an own goal from Dave Mackay (not well recorded here), funny I remember it being 0-1 but this makes it look 0-2

Anyone want to recall any f**k ups against lower league teams, get it out of our system like?

Only OTR (possibly) can go back to the Boston debacle, I can certainly recall the second Boston tie when we were saved from embarrassment by a patch of mud in the Ozzy end goalmouth

Then there was Plymouth, Jesus what long-distance torture with the announcement on sportsnight after the replay defeat that we were probably going down the tubes as a club

    Anyone?

My late brother was at the Boston debacle. I was at both of the 1974 ties. We came close in '09 sneaking a 3-4 win at Forest Green Rovers.

All of the above should serve to remind us that there are banana skins out there as both MU and Soton found out this season against us. We must not take Accrington Stanley lightly or it could easily be another fine mess we got ourselves into.......

The greatest footballing disaster I can remember was the 2007-08 season.
