    Matt Crooks

Yesterday the back 4 looked ok first time really they have played together quite optimistic about it,but the problem is Matt Crooks where do we play him, first of all he looks very refreshing and enthusiastic,we are not going to find out how good he is if he only gets cameo appearances. Can't figure out what Warne is doing.Towell is involved in contractual wrangling with us,so perhaps a time for him to go on bench until he sorts it out and start with Crooks at Millwall.

I think he may have to bide his time, he's competing with Towell, Vaulks and Wiles, i think him and Wiles will both share the load, we will pick injuries up though, inevitable really, he does like a tackle doesn't he!!

Towell needs too many touches at this level for me.
Puts the effort in but not fussed if we sign him permanen tbh.
Crooks will hopefully get more opportunities to have an influence in the team.

I agree with you Pocket but I thought his first half yesterday was the best he's played for a while.

If/when Ajayi goes then Crooks will be in the starting line up.

Matt Crooks has been bought with a view to being in League 1 next season.

    Fail to prepare........prepare to fail.

    That's a bit unfair.
He's been brought in because that's the best we can afford and we haven't seen him play a full match yet to judge how good he is.
Clarke Robertson is cship standard recruited from a team that struggled in L1 for large parts of last season.

I didn't see PW or the team resigning ourselves to L1 yesterday
