Thanks for that Ftivano. It answers my question on the club hat trick record.

Also well done to SLO Ross Corbett on his excellent interview with Border TV. It took place in the home dressing
room and revealed that Low and Fordyce were fit as their named shirts were hanging in the background.

Utterly amazing result for Queens, - and the added cash from the Aberdeen match could well save their season (financially)

Of-course there is still the huge prospect of further progress in the Cup and hopefully a top four finish.

Dobbie's hat trick against Premiership opposition should also be his way of saying to the powers that be in Scottish football: "look guys, - I can score at the highest level, - so give me an opportunity in a Scotland shirt.......what's to lose?"

Great idea , let’s lose Dobbie for international duty when we need him on league business

I think you've said this before Aloreburn........there is such a thing as thinking of the greater good and what is best for Dobbie.

Dobbie is unselfishly choosing to play for Queen of the South when he could clearly play at a much higher level, - and we should be screaming for the man to get a Scotland call up.

From Queen's perspective, - it would give the club a much higher standing if Dobbie was given the ultimate honour.

Finally, - there's absolutely nothing to be gained by saying "Dobbie could and should have played for Scotland" - all that you'll get from the central belt punters is "aye right pal."

What could and should happen now is that Dobbie is given a cap, - which is the ultimate accolade and be allowed to grace the national stage, regardless of his age. It is ability and goal scoring ability that counts.
