4 managers in a row haven’t been able to fix things. I think RN is the most competent of that 4 and will get it right with a bit of patience.

We need better players and a few leaders to assist the manager. Is there a Darren Dodds / Webster / Barry Robson type character (and ability) out there any more. We need a couple of those types and quickly because we are still very poor to watch and very weak mentally.

Unfortunately it's hard to get those types of players in quickly. Especially considering where we are at the moment as well.

It'll take time. I gather our style changing radically any time soon.

I'm afraid that we reap what we sow in this scenario. Short-termism and going through 5 managers in 4 years breeds a support with absolutely no patience. And yes it is a joke.

Sorry, but can't see us going up this year. No way we are winning the league unless there is a massive change in our style of football. Also watched the 'Well v Dee highlights and both of these teams looked sharper, faster and able to find a teammate. Being brutally honest we look like we would be humped by both of them (galls me to say that). Think it is absolutely crucial to give the time to RN to get us up and survive in the top league.

Why is it a joke ?
Just because you don’t like it ?

We’re under a new regime who might not have your faith in RN.

That will be Motherwell that just lost at home to Ross County a couple weeks back and Dundee who couldn't beat Queen's at home (outplayed) and are trailing them right now in the replay (and have lost at home to Ayr and Dunfermline too this season)

Well they will lose the faith of the fanbase very quickly if Neilson isn't afforded the same time minimum that Laszlo the clown was

The club needs stability and a period of a few seasons with the same manager to build his own era at United

I’m not advocating that RN be sacked.
There’s no reason to think he won’t make a success of it.
Frustrating just now but he does need time.
    There’s no quick fix.
And look at how well macintire is doing and he was probably second choice.
My original point was whether the new bosses will give him that time.
If it becomes almost certain that we won’t win the league they might cut their losses and bring in their own man.
