I’m not advocating that RN be sacked.
There’s no reason to think he won’t make a success of it.
Frustrating just now but he does need time.
There’s no quick fix.
And look at how well macintire is doing and he was probably second choice.
My original point was whether the new bosses will give him that time.
If it becomes almost certain that we won’t win the league they might cut their losses and bring in their own man.

Ogren did say that their longterm plan doesn't work if they don't go up but that it's not end of world financially.

So that does add a bit of pressure on getting up.

If it is to be believed that the new coaching additions aren't Robbie's guys then that concerns me a little. Never sits comfortable with me the idea of a manager having to work with coaches that aren't his own guys.

Time will tell if Ogren etc will have patience should we fail to go up.

If we do go up and we are struggling at the wrong end of the table then Robbie would likely get the chop and I imagine a lot of fans would back a change to try to stay up in the Prem.

Agreed. I personally think he should be given time but I or any fan doesn’t make that decision. Whether we go up or not, one thing is for certain—we’ll need major surgery in the summer. If we somehow manage to scrape through the play offs there’s not a chance in hell that shower of Tom kite would stay up.

With goal difference it’s edfectively a 7 points gap. Teams don’t get that kind of margin over course of season never mind 14 matches. Already drinking in last chance saloon
