    Mitch Rose signs

Might as well start a new fred.

"Notts County have completed the signing of versatile 24-year-old Mitch Rose.

The former Mansfield, Newport and Ilkeston man scored four goals in 29 appearances for Grimsby Town this season, including one against Notts in the Checkatrade Trophy, before negotiating a termination of his contract in order to join the Magpies on a free transfer."

Seems like Ardley wants another battler in midfield. Maybe switch to a 4-2-3-1 with Rose and O'Brien battling with Kellet, Bouldwijn and Allesandra supporting a new target man? Then have Hemmings and Dennis off the bench, seems an ideal scenario

If he's any good why have Grimsby let him go?

Jolley freeing up money to buy elsewhere, I did read somewhere that they're signing a new striker from Sweden so maybe there's a fee to find?

Good to get someone else with a decent attitude, although it also looks like we're trying to assemble a team of less illustrious brothers

Think we're onto Group D choices now, A,B,C, having turned us down. A decent striker would cheer me up no end, butttttt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
