    Josh Benson

Josh Benson was on the bench for the United game.

He is a 19 year old midfielder who we signed from Arsenal in July.

    Has anyone seen him yet?(Super?)

    Sounds promising.

Decent player at Under 23 level and I think that he has the ability to make it just as I thought that Dwight McNeil would do well. Theyare both young and it is good to see that SD has trusted McNeil, although he will have to nurse him through the season because stamina levels are not at their greatest at that age. He may well give Benson the odd sub appearance, however, a lot will depend on results.
Josh had been at Arsenal since he was 9 years old!!
Interesting that he was in the squad on Tuesday because he played 98 minutes on Monday in the Under 23 game and 38 minutes of that was with 10 men!

    Thanks Super.

Where does he play in midfield - attacking, mid, defensive, left, right or central?

I've seen him twice, he's a younger version of Aaron Ramsey. When we build him up and improve his physicality we have another winner here!

    Fingers crossed!

He is one of those who can take a pass and shift it on at the same time. Head always up, I'm optimistic!
