Good analogy. The thing is you can get some good quality stuff at lower prices in the likes of Aldi, Lidl, with the occasional bargain from some of the more expensive shops. We seem to be shopping in the damaged items bins in these places - picking up players who are past their sell by date, or badly damaged.

Any major investment in any walk of life you do due diligence, whether that be a survey, medical, background checks.......we are not what we were as anyone can see.......well, pre 90’s and tbh our coach has made a c unt of things only finishing 2nd the past few seasons.......he needs to get his finger out as a coach and be more diligent regarding the money at his disposal and sack the medical staff and such like.......perhaps he is not involved in such dealings......either way, early flight booked from Malaga to cheer the once michty on in a few weeks in the semi.......

Apparently we are looking to sign scott pitman,midfielder from livi,DM tried to sign him in january but wouldnt pay the 175K livi wanted

Not sure if it’s a bullet dodged but the guy Pittman has signed a new deal at Livingston.

Unless he is doing a Jonny Hayes and signing a new deal so Livingston get a decent transfer fee
