Call me old skool but I’d prefer my number to be 11 or under.

Interesting thought that we could go 4141 this season rather than 4231. I'd go 442 with the current personnel, putting McGinn up front alongside Cosgrove. I'm convinced McGinn would score significantly more than May or Main.

If we can source a left back, that's not a bad looking starting XI. I like the idea of turning McGinn into a no. 10 (which was basically his role in his first season when he scored a ton). Compared with someone like Hayes, who was all about pace and directness, McGinn has the technical ability to adapt his game to compensate for a loss of pace. The game sometimes passes him by on the wing.
