Just 1 Negative From Today's Game

Corners and free kicks, more work needed.

Will take time, bet 4-5 games to get the drills and who should be where.
We could and probably should have won to day, that's the only negagive

To be fair, they have only really been together a day? When you see the starting line up and only 4 were here before the turn of the year, they will need time. What is encouraging is the little time they have been together and they seem to be working a lot harder. Just imagine what could have been had we recruited like this in the summer? Going toe to toe with the league leaders, getting a draw and it not being a "lucky" draw but a game we could and probably should have won shows what we have been missing. That game should have been a top of the table clash, instead we are fighting for our lives but at least we are now fighting! Give them time, I have hope for the first time in a long while!

Other than one f00ked up short corner where Lincoln broke away and nearly scored, I thought the set pieces were massively improved on the Cambridge game ie we did look mildly threatening.

We nearly actually scored from a corner.

I don't think Allesandra is a natural set piece taker. Not sure why we are persisting with him on corners.

For all the improvement, and there was plenty, we do appear to be missing a natural and threatening dead ball taker.

What a difference. A few weeks ago Lincoln would have torn us to pieces. Excellent performance and, for once, an enjoyable day out. Bring on Forest Green.

Hewitt was our dead ball specialist at the last home game.

Thought we were better both attacking and defending set pieces today.

I've got another negative, being charged £4 for two small glasses of Coke in the Sports Bar! Only when I looked back to see the barman (6`and coloured) smirking and whispering to another barman did I realise it, £4!! I should have confronted him then, I know, but I've emailed the club so I'll wait and see.

"WTF has being 'coloured' got to do with it". ?
