Watched the Sportscene hilights last night and if Butcher had decked it like his opponent then I think they both would have only seen yellow. Absolutely no difference in the way they both challenged each other and only the reaction after the tackle made up Collum's mind.

You saw his communication with the 4th official as he passed him on the way off.
'What about the other phukn challenge?' or words to that effect as he pointed towards the pitch.

Barton scored for connahs quay nomads the other day. They’ve been on fire since he arrived. Hopefully there could be a permanent switch there!!

Barton is a fine player ! As long as he doesn't have to ..... win balls in the air...(he is quite tall) ...... tackle..... mark a man...... sprint....get physical in any way.... Always had the impression he wanted to look "laid back" for some reason??? NEVER gonna work in this league. Whoever was involved in his signing certainly didn't do their homework. SHOCKING signing.

its a forum, people will air their opinions, you can never stop that, the day that stops is the day the forums all close down.

I'd much rather people criticised on here rather than in the stadiums.

YES.............. a decent United team!!! Sorry if you think the comment was harsh but his signing (for me) was proof just how much we had lost touch regarding the league we are trying to get out of. Not just him , quite a few others. Just hoping the new signings are a level above especially in commitment and good old fashioned hard graft .
