    Swans v Millwall

After a first defeat in eight games last week against Bristol City we dust ourselves down and go again today.
An already bare squad is further depleted with the injury to captain Fer and leading scorer McBurnie with the sickness bug.
The shock release on transfer deadline day of three first team players to other clubs, could have been five if the owners had got their way, has affected moral, especially with no incomings to replace them.
Millwall are the visitors, we beat them away earlier in the season, but there are no easy rides in this division and it will be a tough game.

A traumatic week at the Liberty after Huw Jenkins, Chairman for 17 years, resigned in protest at the young Daniel James transfer.
Pre-match the fans marched from the city centre to the Liberty Stadium protesting about the demoralising events of the last few weeks and wanting the American owners out of the club.
Millwall, still on a high after beating Everton in the Cup, were going to be no pushovers, and they brought plenty of support with them as their fans sung loud and and strong.
First half we had plenty of possession and it was George Byers, drafted in from the Academy who eventually scored with a left foot shot after a first attempt was blocked, just before half time.
Second half Millwall got stuck into us and Mulder had to make several fine saves. It was end to end stuff as McBurnie headed wide and Millwall almost equalised in injury time, but we held out for the win which takes us up to 11th spot and 6 points off the play-offs.

Byers had a good game yesterday, as did John for the second game in a row until he was injured.

Yes John was pretty poor before that, but it looks as if Potter has worked his magic on him, shame he was injured.
