    Brighton's Florin Andone

Brighton's Florin Andone banned for three games for elbow against West Brom.

Further details of the BBC article are shown below.

IMO a 3 match ban doesn't begin to address the unfair advantage that was gained by Brighton on the night. I would say that if the match officials were alert enough, Andone would have been sent off. I'm not if scored the equaliser before or after this incident??? In any case Brighton would have been down to 10 men and quite possible would not have been in a position to attack like they did.

Brighton forward Florin Andone will miss the club's next three games after being found guilty of violent conduct in the FA Cup replay at West Brom.

The Romanian, 25, who joined Albion in June from Deportivo La Coruna, misses league games with Burnley and Leicester plus the FA Cup tie against Derby.

Andone appeared to elbow West Brom's Sam Field in Brighton's win at the Hawthorns on Wednesday.

The incident was not seen by match officials but caught on camera.

Andone, who scored Brighton's equaliser, pleaded not guilty to the charge but was found guilty by an Independent Regulatory Commission.

Brighton won thanks to two late goals from Glenn Murray and will host Frank Lampard's Derby in the fifth round.

He's finally got what he should have had at the game, a red card and a ban.
