After last night the 22nd place team is averaging 0.95 points a game. So on this basis whoever it is in on course to finish on 44 points.

That has increased by two points from the start of the evening.

We are averaging 1.33 points a game since we had this new team in February so we are on course to finish on 43/44 points. So we need an extra win that our current form suggests we win another two.

Crewe (A) Win - 40 points
MK Dons (H) Lose - 40 points
Crawley (A) Win - 43 points
Grimsby (H) Win - 46 points
Swindon (A) Lose - 46 points

I’m not giving up yet, no way and neither should the players, coaches or managers either. The above is possible and not unrealistic in my mind.

I’ll only accept it can’t be done when and if it’s mathematically impossible.

Getting desperate. For the first time we've needed top two form, 2 points/game, 8 points, at least two wins, from a side that's got no heart nor soul.

Just got back and f u c k me that was awful.
Crawley are safe now, if it wasn't before it is now a three team league. Our goal difference is like a point deducted so we have to win one extra game to Macc to stay up.
If Macclesfield get four more points, we need to win two and draw one.
Based on the utter shambles today and our dreadful home form we look doomed, just can't see us stringing anything together now, that lot look shot from the manager down.

This thread is hilarious if we had to get 40 points to stay up we’d fail.

After what I saw today it’s nailed on relegation, nobody is guaranteed a win but I expect a team to fight I saw none of that and it doesn’t help when with our sub we made our team got slower on the pitch !

Ardley wanted to sit deep and hit them on the break I can kind of understand that if you had pace up front but we didn’t we just kept putting the new keeper,under pressure with ridiculous back passes and hitting the ball long to the Crewe centre backs heads I mean Hunt was terrible whilst here but today he could have got his pipe/slippers out he will not have an easier game all season.

I was angry watching that today but we deserve it when employing this tool as manager I guess I have to accept he isn’t going anywhere this season.
