To put that into perspective, 1.4 points per game is 64.4 over a season. Last year that would have made us 11th (Newport) or 12th (Cambridge), so it's not promotion or even play off form that's needed from now on in, just mid table form. Still, some margin for error would be nice.

Wow! That's only 2 more wins and 4 more draws for the rest of the season!!! What's encouraging is 4 more wins and 4 more draws sees us safe!!!

It also has us not winning in the next 6 games. Can anyone see that being the case?

Just done a prediction league online and have us finishing 20th on 48 pts. Morecambe and Port Vale going down but I do have us as beating Vale at home so if they got a draw against us it would be Yeovil for the drop.

Means bugger all I know but it killed a few minutes whilst troughing on my porridge this morning.

For those interested here is the link to to Grimsby's 'The Fishy' site and the league calculator https://thefishy.co.uk/calculator0.php?Competition=4

Win our game in hand and we're out of the relegation zone. Put more pressure on those around us. Who would have thought that a few weeks ago!!

Fair play swaley you did. I don’t think even you would have forecast such an incredible transformation in the team in the space of a few weeks.

We’re still bottom of the table but I don’t think relegation is even an issue now. Tbh I’m a bit frustrated that we didn’t have this team at the start of the season. The table would be looking very different.
