Act of stupidity given the venue yes - deserved to go - no.

To be fair to the lad, he's not from round these parts and hasn't been here long so he probably doesn't know how it works up here. Killies fault for not briefing him properly. You just need to see the look of incredulity on his face as he comes off the park to know he's not done anything untoward.

Morelos law from day one this season states that unless its an act of "violent aggression" and/or "brutality" then its not a red card.

Never in a month of Sundays can that be classed as either.

His stupidity was to use an arm and not choose to kick the boy or grab his ball sack as that's clearly all fine...

I'm not so sure, he elbowed the Sevco boy in the face. It could do considerable damage to an eyesocket if that connects

Would the Sevco goalkeper get sent off for a similar offence? Probably not from that referee. I switched off the radio after Killie was refused the early pen because I felt it was ominous for how the referee was going to officiate the match.

Would we screaming from the red if McGreoger did it to one of our players though? Of course... but he'd probably remain on the pitch

Say what you want about Tin Legs, it was a great piece business getting £1 from the Asset Stripper for that worthless corpse of a club

Supposedly, the Asset Stripper wanted to turn Ibrox into a fur farm as it had been housing minks for years...
