yep truthhurts is right carlisle are all guns blazing to get promotion ,where as queens trundle along with a thread bare squad hoping for success but clutching at straws ,thats why carlisle got more when thay reduced prices ,we would still defo get a few more by doing what carlisle did but,the diff is carlisle will have put it about there town through tv ,radio ,papers and internet and thay would have made sure everyone in the cumbria area knew it was going to happen ,now all you would see from queens if thay did this would be a right up in the standard that hardly anyone buys ,the queens os site and maybe an odd shout on westsound ,now all of these combined will prob let about 20% of the dumfries population know queens have reduced prices for a match ,thats the diff .

You are correct Dougal as Carlisle did indeed target last Saturday's game with the reduced entrance fees and started a
huge campaign 4 weeks before the actual match to advertise it.

Queens fixtures and other events have never been more advertised the last couple of seasons and I’ve noticed a massive difference on the official site over the last few months. They now advertise events and reminders on a daily basis. Unfortunately you can’t make anyone turn up or support anything. It’s up to the individual.
Nobody can say Queens aren’t trying that’s for sure.

aloreburn ,,the official site ,yes its got better but who looks at it apart from the fans that already go watch queens ,and the standard paper loool thats a laughing stock ,hardly anyone bothers with it ,queens need to put themselfs into the minds of the polpulation that are currently uninterested in anything queens ,and for them to see what queens are offering the os and g&g standard aint going to cut it ,queens need to get in the public eye in a massive way through border news sport which most the dumfries public see or bbc scotland sport news ,with a press conferance type thing from manager and chairman ,only that kinda commitment is going to put queens in the eyes of the uninterested cause thay tend to watch these things ,put it this way i never go on the official site ,and havnt seen a standard paper in decades ,if i wasnt already a queens fan i would never know who thay were apart from seeing the big flood lights stick up at palmy and maybe say whos are thay lol .

Queens are all over social media on different sites and pages. Some of which you use on many occasions. Stop talking utter garbage.

Francis seems to live in a cocoon of his own making at times.

Football like the first half last Saturday will drive more fans away, a bit more football like the second half last Saturday on a regular basis might just entice a few to return. Using Dobbie as a lone striker hoping to pick up scraps of chances as the rest of the team sit back playing a "containment" game isn't fair on the player or punters. Think what his total for the season would be if we played a system to get the best out of him. I get the impression at times Dobbie looks a bit fed up as he tries to urge his team-mates to push up the park a bit.

Queens should have played that system in the first half with 11 players.
