    Leeds v Swans

Striker Oli McBurrnie, winger Wayne Routledge and full-back Declan John are all doubtful for Wednesday night.
Already midfield general and captain Fer is ruled out with a hamstring injury and full back Olsson is out long term.
It all weakens an already threadbare squad unfortunately. This time of year you can expect injuries, and we had our chance to bring cover in, but we were more concerned with getting players out and off the wage bill. What a sorry state to be in.

We went into this game with no recognised forward in the starting line up, with both Baker-Richardson and McBurnie on the bench? It hasn’t worked before and it didn’t work again, why experiment in such a big match?
Without the injured Fer the midfield was weak, the very poor McKay who won’t tackle and strolls around every game but keeps on getting picked. The lightweight Celina who won’t tackle, and Fulton who lacks the skill for this level. Our midfield engine Grimes was moved to full back leaving us exposed in midfield and weak up front, all a recipe for disaster.
What was Potter thinking, and he keeps on making the same mistakes. He might just as well have gifted the match to Leeds. So it turned out as they were 2-0 up and cruising at half time.
Asoro replaced Fulton on 56’, McBurnie replaced McKay on 61’, and Narsingh replaced James on 68’, and finally we reverted to our usual formation and started to get at Leeds, but too little too late. On 87’ McBurnie slotted home the penalty after Asoro was fouled but we just could not get the equaliser,
Very naive tactics by Potter, he has to stop this playing players out of position. If we had played the players and formation that we finished the match with last night I reckon we would have had a much better outcome, instead of returning home with our tails between our legs.
