Sad to hear the news - a great goalkeeper.
Did he ever play against the Millers? I don't think that I ever saw him play in a game at Millmoor.

He helped to set up a pottery shop in Catcliffe, which his sister in law was in charge, of and it was later run by his nephew, who was the drummer in Pulp
