    Reserve matches

I understand from a correspondent who has been in touch with Nigel Clibbens that the Club are approaching other teams to arrange fixtures to allow non-playing squad members to get “competitive” game-time. A circular went out yesterday approaching other Clubs. This should allow any fringe players to hit the ground running if called on to play.

A good move, and something that wouldn’t have happened imho a few months ago. Credit to those at the Club for getting it right.

First game is against Oldham stiffs (away) tomorrow. A bit of legwork for Cullen and Kennedy.
