    Longstaffs stats for last night

    Very impressive tbh
One being he ran 12.6 km
Nearly 0.8 Kms more than anyone else on the pitch

He's there on merit now and shouldn't just be pushed out with return of Ki, Diame and Shelvey.

For me, he's the first name on the teamsheet for midfield.

Amazing how well he's done. With him being young and so inexperienced he's bound to have a dip but he looks to be a real player.

It was good that he was brought in when he was as it's shown that he can withstand the pressure. When he had his first game before the match obviously it could have gone any way but he took it as it came and wasn't overawed.

It bodes well for the future and I wonder how many more hidden gems may be brought forward in the next couple of seasons.

It's good to see a homegrown kid do well. Every other team seems to be able to bring through their own youth players. Does not happen enough at Nufc.

Aye well hopefully Rafa will stay & reshape the academy which will see us bring through more local talent.
