Just a shame it's not reflected in the town centre.

Wow, that’s a wonderful report, no idea what it means.

    What does it mean?

    Where are the new jobs?

What are we getting right ( or wrong)?

What yardstick suggests we are better than Manchester?

That's what I meant, Manchester is pretty gentrified these days whereas Rotherham town centre makes South Elmsall look like San Tropez, need some of this success to go into the centre.

I wonder how much of the investment made by Hallam University has helped. They are becoming one of the worlds best Unis. When you put their expertise in the mix and the arrival of Boeing, Rolls Royce and so on you get why. A great decision as well by the council for letting the airport close and practically giving the land away for industrial use.

Go on then, explain it to me. What data is used to make that league table?

    How easily is it verifiable?

Is Rotherham actually doing well or just doing less badly than the other towns?

Btw I notice that Hamleys in the town centre now has closing down signs on the windows
