    Milsom

Funny how no other manager was able to work out he was a left back.

    Moniz did

I imagine it's more a case of Milsom wanting to play in midfield and being able to and to be fair to him it's not like he hasn't made a career out of it.

Credit where it’s due, I think NA mentioned it was Crossley who suggested it.

Milsom has been like an additional Jan signing.
He’s been superb at LB and has probably just saved his Notts career.

Let's be realistic, we have all known that Milly can play and has the ability. Player of the season a couple of years ago is testimony to that. Like many of the players we have seen at Meadow Lane over the past couple of years he has suffered as a result of a combination of poor team selection, poor recruitment and dire tactical decisions. Now, in Ardley, we seem to have a manger who has been able to address all three of these areas. He has recruited brilliantly. This has enabled him to select the right players in the right positions. He now has players who now have the ability and desire to carry out his tactical plan. Early days I know, but it is good to be able to go to games knowing that we have a team that is both hungry for and capable of delivering a result. COYPs!

Just a few short weeks ago against Cambridge Millsom put one of the worst performances by a a midfielder I’ve ever seen. A total pansy who couldn’t tackle, run or pass it forward.

He literally looks like a different player now,, a marauding powerhouse who could be a lower league Stuart Pearce. Nothing short of revelatory.

How come Norm didn't mention it to Kewell or Nolan? Or maybe he did.
