    Ben the donkey

I have just watched the rubbish served tonight and in my view it was unacceptable, the team selection was an insult to the fans who travelled , little guy in the middle does not work if his bigger mate is miles away. If you keep your top scorers on the bench and play a lad who has never scored for the team then it will result in a score like this. Get a grip Tony before you lose the fans trust, you have done a great job but don't blow it now.

We played well and dominated the game throughout.
Two sucker punches yet again, the defence simply isn't good enough and whatever the question Amari Bell is never the answer.

Totally get everyone has different opinions, and nobody is right or wrong, its about how they see it. And I also get that we all see games different.

I actually thought Brereton did quite well. He showed fantastic pace, ran at defenders, caused problems, created a great chance for Armstrong. Had Armstrong played the ball correctly to him when we had 3 attackers on 1 defender he'd have scored. He missed a chance, I don't think it was clear cut, and he created that himself out of nothing. Not one thing he did last night, cost is the game. He was not at fault for any goals, missed no glaring chances, and played his part. Ben is a young lad, who needs games, and time. Once he gets his confidence up, he will be a very good asset. He is a kid, he will get better.
I thought Bell was ok, he got forward very well. Nobody else in the club can do what he does. Williams is crap. He scored a good goal, but cost us their first.

I am just deeply concerned about our defence. I am not sure about any of them. Mulgrew costs us goals. While he is a great asset for set pieces, I'm afraid he is a liability at CB. Rodwell.....I cant make my mind up. To pair him with Charlie is not the answer. Lenihan is ok, but personally I would spend big in the summer buying 2 out and out centre halves. Break the budget, go for it.

Everyone raved about Travis, yet he has been pretty poor vrs Brentford, poor on sat vrs a decent side in Bristol and was pretty poor last night I thought. People need to calm down with him, he isn't the Glenn Hoddle everyone thought. He is ok for a few games, and has been poor in the rest. Not sure he is the answer.

Reed isn't either, a very limited player. Runs about, isn't good enough for centre mid. Isn't a winger so is wasted out wide. He cant pass, and doesn't create. What is he? Not worth £7m I can tell everyone that for free. There is better out there than him, and we need to not settle for second best. Yes he gets stuck in, fans like that. But it doesn't mean he's actually any good. Nowhere near good enough for the Prem, not sure he is good enough for the Champ over a whole season. He also isn't good enough to play RB. Despite playing all season for Norwich.

Rothwell runs into blind alleys. Not the answer, he wont get any better than this. A squad player until we get better.

The keeper is costing us more than he is saving us and gaining us points. His kicking and overall distribution are woeful, he is also pathetic in defending his own six yard box. He isn't commanding. And now, its starting to catch up with us.

I get dropping both Dack and Graham. Its not disrespectful to utilise our squad, they cant play every game.
Nobody will be complaining when we beat Boro on Sunday. Which we will.
