3 Taking us up to 7th in our return to the Championship until you lost key players

4 Doing the job of both CEO and manager/coach for six months

5 Doing the best you could with the hand Goat dealt you in August with inexperienced players, an overload of midfield players, only one and a quarter strikers in Bradshaw and Ugbo and a mess up not bringing in McBurnie.

6 Having to work with Goat

7 Signing a new contract to ensure that BFC got a £500.000 release clause income before going to Leeds.

We were the losers when Goat made his biggest c0ck up of all bringing in Morais to replace you. We were outside the relegation zone when you left and with Moore and McBurnie to help up front, something denied to you in the Autumn, I am sure we would ev stayed up if you had still been there.

Wouldn't argue with that except to add that it was Mr Cryne who let the Crown jewels go wasn't it?

Hecky thought that Williams and Gardner was brilliant central midfield pairing and that they were both dynamos.

Indeed it was Ziles. He couldn't compete with the £28 K a week fo Hourihane and £14 K a week fo Bree from Villa and whatever at Wednesday fo Winnall.

Wasn't that when we stayed up in 2016-17 under Hecky ?

Relegation was much preferable the season after under Chien, Goat and Morais.

Williams and Gardner were brought in on loan by Hecky in the 2017/18 season.

He could have kept them until EOS & gave us a chance of promotion couldn't he ?

Just shows you how short sighted that regime was. They didn't realise that the contract rebels maybe would have re-signed had the club got promoted or just made the play-offs.

Depends what your end game was
    Football or bank account
I'll leave it to you to work it out

Correct Ponte. I was wrong. The mind plays tricks following the trauma of Goat and Morais.

Were they both there all season. Did Morais play them ?

Morais was stuck with them because Mcgeehan, Bird and Mowatt were farmed out on loan by Hecky. Morais never got an opportunity to properly assess his squad. He commented he would like to have seen Mcgeehan and Mowatt play during his tenure.
