    The Geordie song thread..

Seeing there's nowt deeing on the footbaal front.

Why not have some fun wi songs..

    I wouldn't say it's a passion for me.cos I can't fecking sing but it is fun.
I like to see what can be done with songs in Geordie dialect and if you can slip a colloquialism in there anaarl..

    Frozzin's canny (Disney film)

But the best is "Waaking back from your hoose waaking on the moon" (it's hard to write in colloquial)
I think Sting got back hyem with his cherry popped and wrote that in accent.

Ozzy's "Finished wi me woman cos she couldn't help me wi me heed) tried to slip in,"roond the bend" instead of "insane".Doesn't walk (see what I did there0

Madness.. "wor hoose on the middle of wor steet)

Lads and lasses there are a myriad of possibilities oot there,so lets get cracking...

At this very moment Auld Pat is singing..(Anything Gans) By Cole Porter...

    Ha Ha

My favourite song related to Newcastle - and even had it as a ringtone was "I'm Coming Hone Newcastle". Think it was by a musician called Ronnie Lambert.

    Love it.

I wasn’t born in Newcastle but that one always brings a tear to the eye.
