West Ham have always had a loyal support although not in the same numbers as the big London clubs. However, the article linked at the start of this thread is another great piece of propaganda published by Hammers news!!

Far nearer the truth was a report made by Newham Council last season which said the average attendance at West Ham was 42,779 based on the 12 games it attended - which is 12,530 fans fewer than the club's season average figure of 55,309. The truth is that fans buy season tickets at very cheap prices which allows them to pick and choose which games to attend.
