Maybe Alessandra instead of CMS too.

I hope we start with as few changes as possible and try to get a couple of goals, then take players off to rest them, rather than making too many changes and losing momentum.
I was just about to post exactly the same Driller, think you are spot on with this.

I think the Notts roller coaster could hit the down slope on this one. Hope not. Heart says Notts 2 Newport 1
    Gomis and Hemmings
4935 and not many of them

Hopefully it will be nice to see David Pipe back at Meadow Lane

History may repeat itself 70 years on (I don't think)

I attended this match on 15th January 1949

    Notts 11 (Lawton 4 Sewell 4 Johnston 2 Houghton 1) Newport 1

Attendance 26,843. Not bad for the joint lowest tier of the football league.

Wonderful days never to be seen again.

Current record against Newport : Played 51 Won 26 Lost 10 Drawn 15 so will forecast the following.

    Notts 3 Newport 0

    Attendance 5096

    Tough one.

I called the Lincoln and FGR results correctly, but thought we would draw against Mansfield.

I'm going for 1-1 against Newport, purely because Ardley said we have some 'niggles' injury wise and might have to change a couple of players.

Also, the older players might be a bit knackered after Mansfield. I would defo start Hemmings over Stead for this game though. Just to freshen up the attack.

A new type of challenge for the boys tomorrow - a rugged L2 side that likes to hit it long. As long as we start on the front foot again, we can win this.

Notts 2 Newport 1, goals from CMS and Enzio. Attendance 4,846, including 154 from Newport.
