Just when squad is getting players back, another longish term injury, only need a 90 % fit Bamford to break down again - striker options very limited, going into the business end of season.

Yip. Can't be confident in goals arriving anytime soon.

What a kick in the ballocks this is..my fears about the depth of our squad are becoming a reality..like bathlad says if Bamford breaks down again we are well and truly screwed at the most important part of the season.

We didn't f up in the Jan transfer window, just put all eggs in the one basket and got scrambled. Swansea done us. After James's performance yesterday, just think what he would of brought to the team.

Didn't just rest Sharp, rested McGoldrick, Dowell, Basham suspended for two, now back, O'Connell rested, Baldock rested. Brought in bit part part players, Johnson, Freeman, Hogan. Madine looks as if he's settled in really well.

Come the end of the season I fear we may well regret the Villa away debacle and Henderson gifting you a goal at Bramall Lane.

Looking long term it could be roofe's last game at boro, when we go up we will know doubt be signing two top strikers that will keep us in the prem league.
