    Upcoming referees

    Kevin Clancy will be in charge at Parkhead on Sunday and John Beaton will be in the middle at Rugby Park next Wednesday.

    Irespective of the who the individual referees are big changes and improvements need to be made to refereeing in Scotland. Referees are only human and make mistakes and I get that but the level of inconsistency these days is staggering. Last Sunday was a perfect example. It would also help if referees were allowed to explain their decisions. Football is a spectator sport after all and the paying fans are all too often left in the dark. The role of the Compliance Officer and retrosepctive action also needs a major overhaul. VAR? Yes please.
