Thanks for posting Phil. Very enjoyable as you say.
Wasn't it brill? 5mins into added time and still we drove forward. Down the wing with energy and pace the cross comes in and beautifully placed into the net. The Albion fans ecstatic, the players arms in the air in celebration and 3 QPR players on their backs like falling skittles, what a way to end a game!

Very, very well worked goal.
I thought the great thing about our football in the last 10 minutes was we didn't panic we kept passing the ball around until we got into good areas before we crossed the ball also anyone who thinks the players don't care only have to look at the celebrations to know what it means to them.
I know its all opinions but I don't think it was a penalty. Could not see any contact. I think the guy just went to ground between the two players. Conned the ref. Ban him for two games.
It was indeed a great goal and not just a hit and hope cross missing everyone like JM was doing.
Nights like last night make all the cr ap as a football fan you have to sit thro' worthwhile. Quite simply nothing beats it!
And yes it is still a dump.
No chap I gave this one a swerve. It’s getting expensive going home and away all the time minus the price cap. These away games during the week don’t help me out either given there’s no public transport at night. I’d have needed to get a taxi back from West Brom (£20ish) on top of the ticket, travel and beers (my choice). Taxi fares are becoming a real nause and there are only so many times I can inconvenience the wife for a lift.
QPR was the first league game I’ve missed home or away through choice in years with my two other absences down to unavoidable circumstance. It was a self-imposed choice between QPR and Leeds. As there’s more on next Friday’s game the robbing Yorkshire fkrs came out on top over the robbing London fkrs. I saved at least £100 by staying home and listening on the radio and the good news is I’m on for a lift home next Friday.
As luck would have it things worked out well as I’ve felt really rough the last few days. Having dragged myself out to follow Albion when ill/injured over the years the little break was very welcome. Feeling a little better now and looking forward to Sheffield on Saturday evening with the robbing Yorkshire fkrs away to follow.
