    O/T Notts County

I don't tend to look down the leagues too often and so surprised to see how much trouble Notts County are in. Would be a shame if a club with their history went out of the league.

They are having a bit of a revival at the moment so they may yet escape the drop

Lost at home 4-1 to Newport County Tuesday night. Not much of a revival.

Always enjoyed our trips to Notts County.
    A proper football ground.
I hope they can avoid relegation.

Didn’t they have a few behind the scenes problems?

Starting to pick up now, I prefer to them to forest

Probably because we usually beat them but can't beat forest

Notts County have been issued a winding-up petition by HM Revenue and Customs over an unpaid tax bill, understood to be £200,000.

Friend of mine works part time for a media company and does the filming at Notts County games. He told me this morning that if they’re relegated he’ll lose the job because they only film EFL matches.

He used to do both Nottingham clubs on alternate weeks but lost the Forest job when they went multi-Camera.

So in the space of a few months he’s lost one nice little earner and could lose the other.

So, the oldest professional association football club in the world could go out of existence for a sum of money that amounts to less than the Chelsea goalkeeper was fined for gross public disrespect to his manager. Puts the gulf between top and bottom into perspective don't you think?
