It’s mainly a west coast thing but the fact that schools are separated by religion, is, in my opinion a load of Shyte. If you wanna raise your child a catholic, Protestant etc etc then that should be up to the parents. Schools should be a place to learn about Maths, Physics, Biology, English etc etc. not religion. People go on about brainwashing from ISIS etc but in Scotland you’ll have Dads brainwashing kids to hate someone from an early age. Obviously not on the scale of ISIS etc but still teaching children absolute garbage they’re too young to understand. There shouldn’t be any religion inside a school imo. I was brought up a catholic and the older I got the more I realized it was bull**** and wanted nothing to do with it. It should be the opposite, make a choice when you’re older-not forced into it as an innocent child.

They exist in Dundee too. Highly skilled, well educated , articulate folk who for some reason have some early born hatred for reasons that escape me :/

"not on the scale of ISIS" ? They are comparatively new to this day and age. And are nearly finished now. the folk you are referring to are linked through the ages and don't look like stopping any time soon (unfortunately) :/
