Opening the shed for the cup game!

This is a great idea only if everyone buys into it, a shed full to bursting point is a thing of real beauty not to mention the noise level. Otherwise it could be a damp squib! I hope it fills up. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

    Get yourselves into the shed!

I've bought in to it but usually I'd rather just the usual 2 stands were open for us and try to fill them as much as possible they've chosen to open it though so I thought fk it why not.

If the game wasn't on tv then I think we'd maybe get around 7-8000 at this game. Lucky if there's 6000 at the game now.

think loads of free tics to kids for the shed as well a near full each end is an advantage no doubt with the 25 highlanders sitting in the dugout probably

    Personally thinks its utterly daft

We have two stands we need to try and populate closer to full first, they hold 8.5k or so between them

Why dilute and make our support look more sparse for a pointless exercise, by all means if we are going to get closer to filling those then yes, open the Jerry Kerr or shed, but as a championship club in a cup game on a Sunday on bbc with no season tickets then we will do well to get 5k home fans in, spread across 10500+ seats instead, madness and gimmicky

At least the Club is trying something.
That's what's most relevant to me.

Rather rude I quite like the JK grandstand (side, not end) brilliant view if you sit near the top.

Do agree though that the East and Fox stands should be filled up first. It is hard enough generating atmosphere normally . Spreading the fans over a wider area might even lessen that. Also TV footage looks better when the stands are busy. Sometimes the JK stand is quite full , yet on TV it looks like a poor attendance because the pay on the day at the gate appeals to quite a few folk. Personally just now , I pay on the day for GF top tier and it's like the aulden days (not a real word I know) we all change ends at half time depending on which way the team are shooting.
