Why? He's done it consistently, shows no signs of changing and must be satisfied in his own mind that it has little or no relevance to the performance/result. Have faith.

Ok. If you were setting a team up to play against us. Would it suit you best to know our team now, or an hour before kick-off?

Like I said, the man who has taken last season's squad and given us a team capable of taking on all comers and where we stand 3rd in the league is happy to do so, why should we argue with the process he has introduced?

International Rugby teams seem to announce them early, if it's good enough for top coaches like Joe Schmitd then its good enough for our own top coach, an air of confidence?

Fair enough. Just wish he wouldn't do it.

Don't like it either, feel it gives the opposition an advantage as they can plan days ahead against us, surely giving the opposition the team sheet an hour or so before kick off can produce an element of surprise, therefore a possible slight advantage, any advantage we can gain however small is beneficial?

We are not exactly a mystery to the League or other teams now. Other than some changes based on injury or suspension they can pretty much predict who/what we are going to play.

it's basically a "fu%k you" to the other team and the fact we sit top or near the top of the table is a statement. The team he selects knows that and should play accordingly.

The tactics themselves never change. he attacks and possess the ball with total domination in mind.

sometimes you can get so worked up in "coaching" and strategies that you lose sight of the fact that you have to outplay and dominate the teams in this league. we aren't quite good enough to do that, largely because we don't hit our chances, but we have the mindset of a promotion team and one that will be able to play at the next level and not some team that ekes into the premier by getting draws and playing 10 man in the box soccer.

Big Sam, Pulis and others of his ilk may get promioted but it's horrid to watch and is never going to contend at the next level.

I think the clubs who are our opposition on the given day should avert their snoopy eyes in good faith between the said clubs. It's just not fair.
