Thread: Chelsea given 2 year transfer ban from Fifa over signings of minor players.

Chelsea given 2 year transfer ban from Fifa over signings of minor players.

Chelsea have been banned for effectively 4 transfer windows.
It is rumoured that there were 14 players under the age of 18. Signing them breached Fifa rules.

Wondering if Izzy Brown was one of them.
It will be interesting to see if that is the case and what retrospective action can be taken by WBA.
Chelsea are appealing the decision, which means the ban won't take effect immediately.

It's two transfer windows and currently relates to foreign youth signings rather than domestic.

They've been under investigation since 2017 and they've also been fined £460,000.

The FA have been fined £390,000 too, presumably for registering them.

    Yep you are right.
Twitter suggested 2 years but it appears that was Fifas proposal.
