    Barry Douglas

Injuries aside, think Douglas has been huge disappointment this season - his form when at Wolves ( playing us ) was top notch, and corners / free-kicks always meant danger for the opposition, but so far for us, his legendary left foot appears to have been left behind in the midlands - with Pearce out of picture, thank god Allioski has been able to deputise, done well, but would prefer to see him further up the pitch, especially now with Clarke & Roofe missing.
Interesting to see who gets the nod when hopefully a fully fit Douglas / Berradi, return.

Would prefer it if Douglas would return from whence he came. Might be fewer options for MC, but all would be better than Douglas, major major disappointment.

I am inclined to agree. His promised set piece delivery appears to be more "mythical" than "legendary".

Alioski has done well at left back (with the added bonus that he's not caught offside quite so often from that position).

Beggars belief on here sometimes, The lad has been a huge a part of our success this season, Hes out injured and our form dips a bit, Coincidental dont you think, Douglas is quality and if fit should always play and i am sure he will, Short memories some of you, Why dont you concentrate on backing the players instead of slagging them,

Whatever happens between now and May its the the best by a long way for a long long time.

I'm not sure that expressing mild disappointment is the same thing as "slagging the players". Don't let reality hinder your ranting though eh? I wasn't aware that you had some kind of divine insight that means only your opinion mattered.

Douglas @ Wolves vs Douglas @ Leeds, contrast and compare.......errrrrrr, they don't.

What exactly has he contributed to our performances this season?

I'm with you on this Pete, I think when we where flying early season nobody was complaining because he was a key player in the early season performances - while all the rest of the defence [Pontus, Coops, Berardi, Ayling] seemed to suffer one injury after another -Douglas was the consistent steady player we needed, now the whole team is suffering form wise, he seems to be one of the scapegoats - a few weeks ago before Douglas got injured - Alliosky was the whipping boy,

Funny how flip flop opinions are about certain players.

I also agree this has been and still is the best most exiting season for years.

Until we are promoted there will always be moaning going on - mostly by the usual suspects.

I think Douglas has been a little underwhelming but he is still a very good player and key to this team.

He was always going to get less assists with us as he has been trying to cross for Roofe rather than the likes of Jota, Cavaleiro, Bonatini, Ruben Neves and all the other top quality players they had in attack, its a completely different ball game with us. Think with Bamford in the side he may notch a few more if he gets back in the team that is.

He is the one bloke that has experienced promotion to the PL. Keep that in mind, as it may become crucial as a steadying influence in the coming weeks too.
