I was informed today that we are actually 3 points better off than the season when Uncle Colin kept us up. We did go on to win the next 3 games but we can all dream of repeating that. Dreams do come true as they did that season!

One thing that has surprised me is the position that Reading have found themselves. But should it really? It seems as though this league has a few outstanding teams but other teams that have a good ethic seem to be doing better than those who have a large amount of money.

Reading are in the relegation mix because they aren't as good as they think they are.

On the other hand we are where we are because we know that we need to battle for every point and every point is a bonus! On paper we should be relegated at the end of the season but football isn't played on paper. We know that fighting, scrapping and playing some good stuff at times has given us a great chance of remaining in this division! The bad luck and the odd bad decision has gone against us but we've had the rub of the green in some matches and taken points that we didn't deserve. I'd say more against than for but that is the way it is!

We can avoid the drop but we must start to get some wins! Today is a great day to start!

So cone on lads let us drive home happy with 3 points from this crucial game!
