Almiron looks like he has been playing in this league for years. His balls are far better than Shelvey's

The two of them linked up well together as well. A good start, hopefully more of the same on Tuesday

He's upped his game now he knows Almiron will take his place.

I'm really happy he got the goal.

He looked frustrated today though, almost depressed???

Had my doubts about him but his effort has been good lately, now he needs consistency.

Could be anything from personal family problem to getting his hair cut but Rafa did not notice. Given he was our only number 10 for a while got too complacent. He might of hoped Almiron would take time to ajust to English football. Now Rafa can drop him with a quality player. On another topic Richie might of heard Pardew was seen creeping around Bournemouth looking for homesick players wifes to keep company. Just the Joselu problem to sort out.

IF he can just keep scoring. . .

Him, Miggy and Rondon apparently really bonded over the period in Spain. If they keep producing like that Perez can stay in the team for all i care.

I noticed perez putting a bit effort in instead of his half hearted jogs that we have become used to.

I have to say, like...Perez hasn't helped himself at all up until recently.

agreed. when he first came here i was really impressed with him. the potential seemed unlimited

but the last year or so, its been like hes been going through the motions without any real intent. the intent was back this week.
