That's it really.
That's it really.
As deep as some of the comments made about him on this thread, I would hazard.
I vowed I would write nothing political on this site ever again but I did think it was reasonable simply to state that I had met him. The dealings were non-political - in the party political sense - and so are private. All I would say is that I don't recognise much of the descriptions that have been made above about the sort of person he is.
Have never met Tom Watson but to be honest he always comes across on the media as a decent bloke with sensible views and opinions. As for his weight loss - anyone who has struggled with their weight will understand the will power it must have taken. So I have full respect for the guy and would probably vote Labour with him as Leader.
As for Corbyn..... dont get me started.....unfit to be PM....same goes for Mcdonnell
Never mind Watson or even Corbyn, it is the creepy John McDonnell who I do not like. I had always voted Labour until the last election. I remember at that time saying here that I could never vote for them again while that character was around. Nothing has changed.
I agree with Barrera about Watson's weight loss. Westminster life, married with kids and over 20 St. No doubt he did it for the usual sensible reasons.
I think the majority of voters probably share your sentiments 165. The thought of a party running the country containing Emily Thornbury, Diane Abbott,Angela Rayner (Isn't she like that Catherine Tate character, Am I bovvered) whilst led by Corbyn and McDonnell who openly hates capitalism is too scary to contemplate. I'm curious why a few of those who lean to the left and have concerns about the economy post Brexit would argue the case yet still want this bunch of muppets to run the economy. I'm not a fan of the May government which just shows how a strong credible opposition are so badly missed in UK politics. We need a genuinely new party and not this bunch of Blaireites and failed Tories who have just set up shop.
