Nearly as ridiculous as the time Bomber tried to make a substitution. Told the player to come off, told the fourth official the numbers, the board's up, the player's on his way off but Bomber hadn't told he player that was coming on who was still in his trackie. Summed up his time at Dens for me

Always thought once the players number was given to the fourth official he had no option but to come off

I've seen a couple of times a player ready to come on then another player got injured and manager changed the sub.....that was pre 4th official days though when the trainer held up the numbers.
It seemed to me even the ref went over and asked "are you sure". Totally bizzare.
Sub goalie must have zero respect for manager as well.
Hard to see him lasting after that fiasco.
