For those of you slating Harrison well, in my view, there were several far worse than him this evening - Klich, Roberts (very poor yet again; he has the first touch of a refrigerator), Bamford (who will soon be taking on Billy Sharp's Barn Door title), Ayling (yet again) and for the "we love Barry Douglas cos he had one good season with Wolves " Club then for a 'set piece specialist' he did well to blaze 10 yards over the bar with all the time in the world.

Why we took off Alioski (who was at least trying) is beyond belief and I don't think Phillips did much wrong. The only ones who came out of tonight with any credit are Pablo, Cooper, Alisoki, Jansson and the keeper; without whom we could easily have lost 3 - 0.

Apart from that it was great :-)
You might be right about Klich, but at least he HAS contributed, unlike Harrison who has been significant only by the amount of game time he has had and the miniscule contribution made. On those who deserve credit, spot on, and what the f00k Alioski AND Phillips were subbed for is beyond me.

Aye, we should know by now not to get carried away with expectations. I just hope we get the 5 wins we need to get in the play-offs. At least that'll prolong the 'fun' for two more games............

Had a couple of hours to cool down and reflect on what was a very disappointing display. My view is we were the best team by a mile in the first half although our passing in the final third of the pitch was depressingly poor, but for that we would have turned for the second half well in front. Ailing has lost his mojo for sure, Klich needs resting, he’s gone from someone full of confidence to someone drifting around the pitch and contributing little. Bamford should have stepped up tonight but was anonymous, Alioski is lively but brainless, of the rest I thought Harrison tried his best but then ran out of steam, Roberts looks as if the burden of the task is to much for him. We were defensively solid but got caught cold at the start of the second half.
My conclusion is that we are going to be very fortunate if we achieve automatic promotion, with Derby and Bristol both losing we should qualify for the playoffs. Teams who do well at this stage of season have momentum, we have little or none. Recently we have scraped wins and draws without looking impressive. Looking at 3rd / 4th in my opinion. Wish I could be more optimistic.

You're lucky you can head off to bed and try to put it out of your mind. The game finished before 8am over here...so I've had to mull over it all day! I should have drunk myself into oblivion to rid myself of it somehow....
