    Fabian Schar

    Great performance last night.

Of our five centre backs, (Lejeune, Fernandez, Lascelles and Clarke), I thought he would be fourth choice, but no.

Committed, good in the air, composed, scores goals, and did anyone pick up on that 70 yard diagonal pass to Ritche last night.

    A very good player.

He and Lejeune are classy centre backs who are great with the ball at their feet. Obviously Schar can dribble better than Lejeune and has a shot on him (!). I see Fernandez and Lascelles as more defensive centre backs and good uns at that.

With the form they´re all in I can´t see us changing back to 2 CB formation any time soon.

The last time I saw him playing for Switzerland he looked more like a defensive midfielder,I think he could easily play in front of a back three or four.

That's his big advantage. When he comes surging forwards there's no one to mark him.

    Agree with this.

Lascelles looks better with either by him because the compensate his passing ability.
