    The “trial” at Ibrox

They announced before kick off they were trialing a half time smoking trial at a number of exits, now I’ve never indulged in the habit of smoking, but surely this is the way ahead,

I’m sure a few were hung drawn and quartered for having a fly puff at the back of the Derry a couple of seasons ago, surely no harm can come from a few folk having a fag or a vape out in the open at ht

I've never been a smoker but agree there can't be any harm in it. I'd have smoking areas outside and to the side or back of stands so that addicts can go any time during the game - just like pubs do.

Problem I have is areas outside generally turn into entrances and exits like most pubs clubbys and bookies.....you have to walk thru a wall of smoke to get in.....mind you being blinded by a cloud of smoke would just add another challenge to the krypton factor type assault course to get in the Derry.

Fight your way past the surly stewards, shrug off a body search, try not to get tetinitus from the rusty style, over the rubble and up the crumbling steps, watch out for falling rock and rats, thru the water hazard at the back of the Derry, avoid food poisoning by not buying a peh, under the hoses and thru the cancer stick smoke.

    2 minute target time.

This battle at the bottom will turn a lot of people into smokers so hopefully we get some respite (currently a non-smoker) when it comes to the crunch
